Thyssenkrupp
A flexible office glass partition system that brings acoustic focus, transparency and fast installation to a high-performance engineering workplace.
Thyssenkrupp needed a workplace that could support focused engineering work, quick project discussions and frequent visitor meetings without making the office feel closed or heavy.
PLUS created a coordinated system of full-height glass partitions, slim frame doors and modular meeting rooms. The design keeps daylight moving across the floor while giving teams the acoustic privacy needed for calls, workshops and confidential conversations.
Designed around clear movement and quiet rooms
The floor plan combines transparent circulation with enclosed focus zones. Rooms are placed along main routes so teams can find meeting space quickly, while the thin profiles keep sightlines open from one side of the workplace to the other.
Door hardware, glass type, frame color and acoustic seals were selected as one system. That helped the project team reduce coordination time and keep every meeting room visually consistent.
Fast installation with a future-ready system
The installation was planned in clear phases so the workplace could move from bare floor to usable rooms with minimal disruption. Prefabricated profiles and measured glass panels reduced on-site adjustment and kept the final finish crisp.
Because the system is modular, rooms can be reworked as teams change. Panels, doors and hardware can be reused in future layouts, lowering waste compared with traditional fixed construction.
“The new glass rooms give our teams privacy without losing the openness of the office. The whole floor feels lighter, clearer and easier to use.”Project lead, Thyssenkrupp
